Yandex Research in 2023

2023 has been a busy year for Yandex Research. We presented 17 papers to major ML conferences, reflecting our commitment to advancing the field.
At ICLR, we explored graph neural networks, diffusion models, gradient boosting, and stochastic gradient descent. ICCV featured our work on adapting large-scale indexes to content drift. At ICML, our focus included diffusion models for tabular data, efficient training of large neural networks, generation engines for large language models, and learning-to-rank algorithms. NeurIPS saw us presenting papers on diverse topics like distributed inference, text-to-image customization, sparse vision models, graph dataset characterization, and neural algorithmic reasoning.
In 2023, Yandex Research collaborated with leading academic institutions such as Stanford, ETH Zurich, Institute of Science and Technology Austria, and UC Berkeley to explore new frontiers in AI.
Our contributions to ML research gained recognition from the industry. Experts from MIT and Epoch AI ranked Yandex Research among the world leaders in AI. This acknowledgement reflects our impact on the research community and inspires us to continue pushing the boundaries of AI.
As we look ahead to 2024, Yandex Research will continue its journey of discovery and innovation. Our team of 30 dedicated researchers and ML residents is committed to advancing understanding in computer vision, graph machine learning, and deep learning.
